The westbound lane of Highway 11 at the Vine St. intersection will be closed to traffic from 7am to 6pm on Wednesday, April 17th for watermain repair work. 

The Village of Union Grove sewer system had an overflow event at the intersection of Milldrum and 18^th Ave from approximately 7:00 p.m. on April 5^th to 1:00 p.m. on April 6^th.

The new 5-year permit that allows Union Grove to discharge treated wastewater effluent into the West Branch of the Root River Canal has a chloride discharge limit. Our current wastewater plant does not remove chlorides and the cost to install additional equipment that may remove some of the chloride is complicated and cost prohibitive at this time.

For all Racine County municipalities, except the City of Racine, there are two installments allowed:  January 31 and July 31. 1st installments or payments in full are collected by the local municipality prior to February 1st.  2nd installments and delinquent taxes are payable to the Racine County Treasurer, 730 Wisconsin Avenue, in the Courthouse.

A Snow Emergency has been declared in the Village of Union Grove beginning at 10:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021, and remains in effect until 10:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2021. During a Snow Emergency, no parking is allowed upon any public street, highway, or alley within the Village for the duration of the snow emergency, except for vehicles loading or unloading passengers or property for a period not to exceed 15 minutes and provided that no other parking restriction is violated thereby.

A SNOW EMERGENCY HAS BEEN DELCARED   starting at 6:00 am Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 and remains in effect until 4:00 pm, Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024. During a Snow Emergency, NO PARKING IS ALLOWED on any public street, highway, or alley within the Village for the duration of the snow emergency, except for vehicles loading or unloading passengers or property for a period not to exceed 15 minutes and provided that no other parking restriction is violated thereby.
