NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the Village of Union Grove, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term for Village Trustees begins on Tuesday, April 18, 2022. Village Trustee terms are for two years. The term of Municipal Judge begins on May 1, 2023. Municipal Judge has a term of four years.

The 2022 property tax bills are now available online and were mailed to property owners December 2, 2022 Tax bills may be retrieved online: Racine County Inquiry.

A Public Hearing regarding the 2023 Village budget will be held before the Village Board meeting on November 28th at 6pm. The budget was prepared over the course of the past couple months with input from Village Committees and staff. Click here for an overview of the draft 2023 budget.

Polls will be open for the General Election on Tuesday, November 8, from 7 AM to 8 PM at Union Grove Municipal Center (925 15th Ave).

Due to recent and extensive vandalism, the bathrooms at School Yard and Leider Parks have been closed for the season.  ** Bathrooms will be open during Rec Department activities.

A reminder to dog owners enjoying public spaces, Village Ordinances require the removal of all fecal matter from all public spaces, including streets, alleys, sidewalks, lawns, or fields, as well as private property.  Dog owners must look after their animals and remove and properly dispose of all fecal matter.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, garbage collection will be delayed one day.  Garbage collection for Union Grove will take place on Wednesday, June 1.

Recently the Village approved a $5.88M Combined Revenue Bond, Series 2022A for the purpose of paying the cost of additions, improvements and extensions to waterworks system, storm water system and sewerage system and refunding the Villages Waterworks System Revenue Bonds, Series 2012A, dated March 29, 2012.

The Village Board recently approved changes to allow more grant funding available to local businesses, and to expand the geographic lending area to cover beyond downtown.  Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC) is accepting applications for business grants up to $5,000, with a priority on business moving into vacant buildings or spaces.
